Bad Services

Went to Sentosa with Cynthia to bake ourselves again! Hahah.. Hope to get THE golden tan...but seems hard.. haiz...we are those very hard to get tanned one... *sobz*!! So once I didnt get to tan again, I guess I cannot maintain it... would go fair again lor. Aiyoz..! We forgot this week is school holidays!! So many di-di and mei-mei.. but I think it was still better than the weekend crowd. And hey! I heard it is better to go Siloso Beach and Sunset Bay, rather than Tanjong Beach which is more quiet.. Hmm, the place also said to be "not clean" (understood?). Oh ya.. how come only in house guests could use the bench to suntan?? A bit out of point leh.. got two of us...then those benches were all occupied on Siloso Beach, so we asked to have another... The staff also sounded rude lor. Cynthia asked "Excuse me, is it possible to unlock those benches for us to use?" The staff replied, "Are you an in-house guest?" "No, we are not" Then he replied, "Then, no lor" and walked away.. *roll eyes* What kind of service is this? So what if we were not tourists or the in-house guests, does that mean you can be that rude?

Later on, a group of teenagers playing volleyball over the net near us, they were asked to leave the net alone.. because appranrently, the net is supposed to be for the use of in-house guest... The staff stood by and stared at them to make sure they leave... hmmm

In the evening, we left when there was no sun and quickly went for a bath before the mad crowd came and rushed for the queue of the bathrooms. Went to Sakae Sushi for dinner at Tiong Bahru Plaza, being sotong-lovers, we ordered teriyaki ika which looked simply delicious on the menu. And menu was decieving.. the sotong looked so round and big on the menu costing $8. Guess what came, a small, mini, shrunked looking sotong not even a quarter size of the plate it was on. Kaoz! Me and Cynthia stared at each other and then the sotong.. Wah biangz.. $8 for this? We got the manager here... "The sotong looks like it isnt value for money" The manager said "If you want, I can cancel the order for you", without batting an eyelid nor offering us something else in replacement. Services... I know you maybe busy with the crowd.. but it does not hurt to pay little attention to customers' needs.
