Wonder... from the beginning of booking the Redang trip. It had been "suayed"???? It first happened with the booking of wrong dates by the agency which I mentioned eariler on the previous blog entry. After which, on the day of departure, we were told there were some mixed up with the seat reservations and there were delays in seat assignements. When all of us reach Trengganu towards the jetty. We were told to get off for the BERJAYA jetty. The driver only told us "That blue building" We were supposed to follow this particular guy but he disappeared when the bus drove off. Sucky organisation! Throw us at the road kerb and we were at lost where to go.
Anyway, upon the ferry ride, we reached Redang Berjaya. We had to wait bloody long before the bus ride came to pick us from the jetty to the resort. Rude holiday makers!!! From his INTERSIL MALL company... I dont know from where. But they were aggressive and the tour guide even wanna make special arrangement for their transport snorkel trip... HELLO! If you are from one particular company for some bloody incentive trip, kindly arrange your own private transport and NOT JEPODISED the public transport for all other general guests who had been waiting there and queuing for long time. We were so pissed with all the wasting of time, that we gave up the 2nd session of free snorkel and booked our own private speed boat to Long Beach. When it was time for the boat to pick us up, it was a different boatman and boat. We were lost, nobody knew who were to pick us up until 45mins later. A boatman approached us (whom we saw since we were waiting for our ride back at the jetty) weak organisation man!!
Ugly side of humans! My poor NEMO even had his TWO board shorts and one rashguard stolen!! Wah kaoz... CHEAPO! Whoever it is, I cursed you with all. Lousy fellow! Guys and gals! Next time dont ever go to BERJAYA resort.
Worst of all! On the way back to Singapore on Sunday. The coach was late for half an hour to 45 mins, we almost panicked, thinking we were abandoned. And whats more happening!? The coach broke down in the middle of nowhere at the expressway with nothing but palm and jungle around us. WTF! It was around 6 to 7pm then. We almost suffocated in the bus without aircon. We stranded along the road like "LOST". Another tour coach came by and to transfer some passengers over. We were out choosen by the driver over some angmos! Racist? Purposefully let angmos have good impression?FFFFFFFF! Hello?
After a while, the driver tried to drive the coach slowly to a petrol kiosk with a somewhat kopitiam. We waited for almost 5 hours for another coach to pick us from there. Take note... FIVE STARS AGENCY sucks too with organisation. We were bored to tears, tired, hungry and with low cash. Out of no choice we had some roti prata, game of Scrabble and even had a game of "soceer" with an empty bottle.
By then the coach came, everyone was half dead and zillions of bites from the mossies there. By the time we reached Tuas checkpoint, it was 3plus to 4am. When I got home, I felt sick. I couldnt go to work. I went to see doctor the next day and the stupid clinic was so full and I waited for almost 2 hours.
The only enjoyable part were splashing in the clear blue waters with fishes (Sergeant major..etc), baby black tipped sharks, blue dotted stingray and sea cucumbers around you. Feeding the fishes with bread, getting them near you. Getting sunburnt and spending valuable moments with NEMO. And my aromatherahy massage. I try to upload the pictures soon!!
